MACCLESFIELD HALFPENNY above, 1790 below. Head of the figure below the space between MACCLESFIELD and HALFPENNY. Six spokes to cogwheel. The top bar of the windlass points between the first and second N of PENNY, the lower bar between the Y and period. The head of the figure mid-way between the D and H.
